Mr. Shivraj Krishna Gupta

Mr Shivraj Krishna Gupta is the son of Late Mr B K Gupta, an eminent Industrialist.

He was a constant support to his father for 22 years, supporting in all his endeavours until 1998 when the duties and responsibilities were passed on to him. Earlier, he served as the Executive Director since 1980.

A Commerce Graduate from Delhi University, he has over 48 years’ experience in the Wire & Cable Industry. As the Executive Director, he was instrumental in culminating a technical collaboration with Showa Electric Wire & Cable Co Ltd (TOSHIBA Group) for introducing new generation LT XLPE Cables in India which catapulted the Company as market leaders in LT Cables. He has undergone extensive training at the said collaborator’s plants in Japan.

Under his stewardship, Victor Cables is developing new generation Specialized Cables & Wires for the High-Speed Railway System in India and Cables for Off Shore & On Shore Applications.

Mr. Gupta is a Member of the Managing Committee of ASSOCHAM and is also actively involved in various Philanthropic activities connected with the Education & Healthcare Sectors. 

He led a ASSOCHAM Business delegation accompanying the President of India on his State visit to Switzerland in 2019.

Mr. Gupta is a member of the Governing Board of Pannalal Girdharlal DAV College (PGDAV College) New Delhi, a constituent of Delhi University, and an institution donated by the family. 

He also serves on the Rogi Kalyan Samiti, the Functioning Board of LNJP Hospital (formerly Irwin Hospital), Delhi where the family has donated a 200 bed Maternity Block in memory of Lala Sher Singh ji, the maternal grandfather of Mr. Gupta and is also on the Managing Committee of Anguri Devi Sher Singh Memorial Academy, New Delhi.

An Alumni of University of Singapore, Namit looks after the Production at the Pathredi plant.
